An Adaptive Frequency Control Radio Power Delivery System Using LCC-S Topological Compensation Network

A new radio electrical power delivery system is proposed for wireless charging of lithium batteries - the adaptive frequency control wireless charging technology with LCC-S(inductor-capacitor-capacitor-series)topology compensation network. The system essentially comprises a bridge inverter filter circuit, an LCC-S topology compensation network, a coupling coil and a bridge inverter filter circuit. In particular, we use a closed-loop control system composed of a sampling circuit at the receiving end, a microcontroller, and a full-bridge inverter to achieve the purpose of obtaining a constant-current and constant-voltage mode through frequency conversion control. Magnetic field and current distributions were simulated by ANSYS Maxwell software. Simulation and measurement results illustrated good performance with high transfer efficiency.
