Research on the Equivalence of Pure Conductor Monocone and Metal Drawing Monocone

The structure of cone and metal drawing is proposed in this paper to extend the time window of monocone and reduce the reflection at the end of the monocone. The equivalence of pure conductor monocone and metal drawing monocone is verified through the numerical calculation and experiment test. The results show that the metal drawing monocone can take the place of pure conductor monocone when the number of metal wires is enough, and the structure of cone and metal drawing can not only effectively extend the time window of monocone, but also can significantly reduce its end reflection.
