Experimental Verification of EMI Reduction in Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer System Using Soft-Switching Active Bridge Converter

This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed soft-switching active bridge converter in dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) systems. In experiments, it was confirmed that the prototype converter operated with soft switching during DWPT. In addition, the efficiency of the proposed system was enhanced by 2.3 percentage points on average compared to a system using a conventional converter. Furthermore, the proposed system reduced radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) by 5.8 dBμV on average.
