Position and Attitude Error Forecasting Technology of Microwave Power Transmitting Arrays for Space Solar Power Station

Microwave power transmission (MPT) in the space environment is based on the ideal profile of power transmitting array, without considering the influence of spatial complexity factors (solar pressure, gravity gradient, attitude orbit coupling, etc.) on the position and attitude of structural modules in microwave power transmitting array, especially on ultra large-scale antenna arrays, which require high structural rigidity and attitude control of antenna modules. In this paper, we propose a microwave power transmission antenna position and attitude error prediction technology based on Spatial- temporal Series Forecasting technology. Multiple cycles and a large number of images can be captured through a monocular camera to predict the structural modules of the transmitting sub-array that are about to be influenced by position and attitude errors. Predicting the position and attitude errors of structural modules assist in retro-directive beam steering. This method theoretically verifies the ability to correct the positional deviations of the structural modules in microwave power transmitting array, providing advance technical support for the development and construction of space solar power stations in the second and third stages in the future.
