Integration of Solar Energy and Power Management in Portable Transmitter for WPT

This paper describes the development and initial validation of a portable architecture for Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) systems. The central component of this architecture is the TX powered by a battery that is charged through solar panels, which embodies both sustainability and portability. The system includes a custom-designed Power Management Unit (PMU) and an active bias controller, providing control over the power amplifier and managing power flow from solar panels to the battery and then to the WPT system. The versatility of the architecture is demonstrated by its potential applicability in various scenarios, ranging from remote sensor networks to the integration in Solar Power Satellites (SPS).
