Analysis of Wind Harvesting and Wireless Power Transfer Integration for Moving Vehicles

This paper explores the potential of wind energy harvesting from moving vehicles, focusing on the integration of Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) through inductive charging. The study highlights the urgent need for research in eco-friendly renewable energy systems to address global challenges associated with traditional energy sources. The proposed wind harvester system incorporates a DC motor as energy generator and a power management module, offering a replenishment solution for vehicles. At an average velocity of 80 km/h, it was obtained 3.75 V and a current of 50 mA. Experimental results demonstrate the system’s feasibility and potential for real-world applications, emphasizing its role in reshaping sustainable energy practices.
