Air Preheating Identification for Heat Pump Performance Improvement

The current research concerns the model and the identification of an air preheating component used for increasing the performance of an air-to-water heat pump system. The proposed model involves the Fuzzy Logic (FL) integrated in an Object Enhanced Time Petri Net (OETPN). The model training was performed by a Genetic Algorithm (GA) using sets of experimental data. The model is used for the air switching mechanism. A platform was conceived for training of such kind of models used in identification processes.
