Bayesian Belief Network for Knowledge Representation of Vocational Interest Types and its Digital Predictors

Development of the automated systems for assessing personal characteristics is an actual problem within the framework of career guidance activities. Such systems serve to support decision making in this area with limited resources and lack of experts. One of the key data sources for such systems is online social media. In this paper, a Bayesian belief network structure is proposed to represent and process data and knowledge about the career-oriented personality type and its digital predictors. The network structure is assessed with statistical data with expert knowledge.
