Designing a Digital Twin in Oil and Gas Technologies: Technology Integration

The concept of a digital twin has become the most in demand in the last decade due to the development of information technology. Big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, IoT, etc. are areas and technologies that combine to form a digital twin. However, this is a problem, because the digital twin depends on the components that are still in the making themselves. This paper examines the key technologies that make up the digital twin, their place in the oil and gas industry, and analyzes the structure of the digital twin and the place of key technologies in it.
