Stochastic Modelling of Typified Assets Maintenance Costs within a Separate Business Unit

in this paper we conduct a research of a full-stack probabilistic model used to predict business costs spent for maintenance and repair of typical technical assets that it owns. The business unit that owns the group of typical assets may belong to a big operating company, specified maintenance organization, machine producer, industrial accounting office, etc. The named model grounds on maintenance cost statistical data and additionally references particular assets operating conditions, age and run time. The costs forecasted by the model are classified in two groups – ‘regular’ (ordinary maintenance costs) and ‘excess’ (costs spent to recover after severe failures). We have designed computational methods for both types of costs and combined them in one unified ‘maintenance budgets forecasting and planning model’.
