Comparison of Ultrasound Scanner Operating Modes

This paper aims to compare the modes of operation of an ultrasound scanner, namely, step-by-step and continuous. The principles of operation of each mode are described. The effect of additional braking on the measurement results of continuous scanning is also discussed. The ultrasonic scanning of one sample in the specified modes and at different speeds is carried out. As a result, some recommendations on the choice of ultrasonic scanner mode and scanning speed are given.
