Selecting the Setting Parameters of Device Instability Prevention Automation Using the Example Local Automatic of Distribution Center 330 kV Kamennyj Bor

The task of using existing power transmissions is urgent because of the limited amount of grid construction and changes in the balance of electricity in the power systems of the United Power System of Russia. Emergency automation devices are widely used for this purpose, but with increasing requirements for their functionality and tuning algorithms, the probability of errors increases. Methods of signal filtering theory, circuit analysis and synthesis, as well as methods of the theory of electromechanical transients and stability of power systems, programs: PARMA and Waves, “RastrWin3”, “RUSTab”, “Eurostag”, “Stability Stock Monitoring System” were used. Proposals on algorithms for calculation and selection of parameters for setting local automatics to prevent instability in the absence of approved methods have been formed. A methodology for selecting parameters for devices instability prevention automation. is proposed, the basic principles are defined and possible errors in the formation of functional and logical circuits are described.
