A Single-Phase Monopolar Generator

The design of a single-phase monopolar generator intended for wide industrial applications is described. There are no brushes or field coils on the rotor, and thus there is no need for frequent maintenance (brushless generator). This generator can be used in autonomous sources of electricity, and wherever the load is single-phase. The operation of the generator for active, nonlinear bridge and nonlinear capacitive loads has been studied. The energy characteristics of the model were obtained, including power and voltage depending on the excitation current and load resistance. The results can be used in the development of such generators.
