Study of Using Photovoltaic Solar Installations inside a Dome Structure Under Conditions of the Russian Far North

The purpose of the article is to study of the possibility of placing photovoltaic solar installations inside a domed structure located at North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) in Yakutsk by preserving a significant share of power generation and determining the optimal distance between the photovoltaic solar installation and the transparent walls of the dome structure. The authors obtained: control parameters for reducing the luminous flux, the generation power of a photovoltaic installation when the operating environment changes and optimal distance for placing a photovoltaic solar installation inside a dome structure in order to reduce surface pollution of a photovoltaic solar installation. It was found that operating photovoltaic solar installations inside a transparent dome structure, the generation power drops 25.61% when compared with actual generation data in open space. It was determined that by increasing the distance between the transparent walls of the dome and the installation, the generation power drops 23% in the range (0→1.5m).
