Operating Modes Analysis of an Asynchronous Motor in the Pumping Unit Drive Under Increased Load Conditions

A distinctive feature of an asynchronous electric motor operation in unregulated electric drives of continuous hot water supply systems installations is a prolonged operating mode at elevated temperatures, accompanied by overloads. In such operating conditions, exceeding the motor power reduces the risk of emergency conditions due to increased thermal loads appearance. But this operation leads mode to an increase in energy losses, which significantly worsens the economic performance of the technological process as a whole. The most sensitive in this case are the boundary conditions formed by changes in the selection mode of the pumped coolant or its supply circuits. The article presents the expert analysis results of an asynchronous electric motors operating modes under increased load conditions.
