6(10) kV Reclosers Location Selection Method to Increase the Consumer Power Supply Reliability

The paper considers the approach using contemporary information tools to select such a number and installation sites for reclosers that allow achieving the set values of power supply reliability indicators. At the same time, the provisions of the graph theory and mathematical combinatorics are applied as the main research methods. The graph theory is used to make a topological model of the considered section for the 6(10) kV distribution grid. The combinatorics methods are used to implement the principles used to calculate power supply reliability indicators in accordance with the changes in the location and number of corresponding devices, the method of sequential search is applied: the values of reliability indicators are recalculated depending on the quantity and location changes; further, the selected value provides the necessary indicators. This principle is implemented in Python. The research obtains a model used to choose the optimal number of switching devices to reach the target values of power supply reliability indicators for the corresponding section of the 6(10) kV distribution electric grid.
