A Single-Channel Detection Method with Multi-Order Matched Filters for Wideband Linear Frequency Modulation Harmonic Signals

In this paper, a single-channel detection method for wideband linear frequency modulation(LFM) signal with multi-order matched filters is proposed. The extraction moment of each harmonic after matched filtering of the modulated signal is related to the target position, and it is unable to determine the harmonic order by the output signal of single-order matched filter. A multi-order matched filter network is used to solve the problem of ambiguous correspondence between pulse peak and harmonic order. The output signal model of multi-order matched filters is established and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by numerical simulations.
