A Wideband Metasurface Linear Polarization Converter

This paper presents a novel double U-shaped metasurface., which demonstrates remarkable capabilities in transforming y-polarized electromagnetic waves into x- polarized ones., and vice versa. Leveraging three distinct electric and magnetic resonances., this metasurface effectively broadens its operational bandwidth. The experimental findings remarkably corroborate the simulation results., demonstrating a polarization conversion ratio exceeding 90% across the frequency spectrum of (8.2-14.8) GHz.
