A Novel Flexible Broadband Transmission Line with Low Loss

A novel flexible broadband transmission line enabling extremely low loss is proposed in this paper, which is composed of conductor-backed coplanar waveguide (CBCPW) and periodically arranged triangles at the edges. From theoretical simulation, it is demonstrated that the periodically arranged edge-based triangular arrays can effectively block wave leakage at DC-60 GHz.
