A time-varying parameter identification algorithm based on prescribed-time convergence

This paper investigates parameter identification for time-varying parameter systems within prescribed time. In contrast to finite-time and fixed-time methods, the new algorithm guarantees convergence within a physically acceptable timeframe, regardless of the system’s initial state and parameters. The stability and boundedness of the time-varying parameter identification algorithm are demonstrated by using Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, numerical simulation examples of a Van der Pol oscillation circuit based on a memristor are presented to confirm the algorithm’s efficacy in practice.
