Study of Direct-Flow Pulverized Coal Boiler Start- Up Modes Using the Boiler Designer Program

The paper examines the stages of modeling the start-up modes of a modern pulverized-coal once-through boiler using the Boiler Designer program. Two different starting schemes were simulated. It is presented the formulation of the research problem, the main provisions for creating a computational model, the most significant modeling results, and the conclusions drawn from the analysis of these results.
