Development of Computer Programs for Calculation of Induction-Resistive Heating Systems for Industrial Pipelines

The principle of operation is considered and an algorithm for numerical calculation of an induction-resistive heating system is presented, taking into account the hysteresis of steel and the interaction of an electromagnetic field with a multilayer conductive medium of an induction-resistive heater. Based on this, the IRSN PRO program was developed to calculate the characteristics of this system. With the help of programs, comprehensive studies of the electrical and energy parameters of the system were carried out depending on the inductor current and heating temperature. A nonlinear substitution scheme for an induction-resistive heating system and a mathematical description of the parameters of this scheme for designing a power supply are also proposed.
