Experience in Utilizing the “Project Expert” Program for Financial and Economic Calculations in the Educational Process

this article provides a comprehensive review of the experience in utilizing the certified software product, “Project Expert,” developed by Expert Systems, a part of the Pro-Invest Information Technologies LLC group. The application of this software has been explored within the educational framework of the Department of Thermal Power Plants at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “MPEI”. Specifically, the program plays a pivotal role in conducting course calculations for the discipline “Feasibility Study of Calculations in Thermal Power Engineering”. In the contemporary landscape, a thorough analysis of energy projects necessitates the incorporation of financial and economic analysis methods.
