Current Traffic Flow Modeling Problems

The constant increase in the traffic load on the street and road network of large cities leads to obsolescence and invalidation of existing methods of organizing traffic within the transport network. This review is an introduction to mathematical modeling of traffic flows and gives an idea of the main areas of research and problem statements where it is used.
