Mitigation of Power Quality Issues in Bidirectional Power Flow System for Electric Vehicle Charging

Electric vehicles (EVs) offer innovative ways to enhance the overall sustainability and efficiency of the system on being amalgamated into hybrid energy systems. This study investigates the possibility of bidirectional energy flow between an electric car and a hybrid energy system to enhance power efficiency and compare the innovative approach with various optimization techniques. The primary goal is to enhance the efficiency, performance, and flexibility of the hybrid system, particularly in the context of electric vehicles This general method offers a steady and sustainable energy framework by integrating BESS to reduce irregularity and using a variety of RES. To overcome these issues, a novel INH-WDO is proposed to help the resolve issues with power and efficiency. The investigation into “Mitigation of Power Quality Issues for Enhancing Power in Hybrid Energy Systems Integrated with Electric Vehicles Using Bidirectional Flow” focuses on refining the power dynamics of hybrid energy setups through the integration of bidirectional power flow with EVs. This study emphasizes the synergy between the hybrid energy system, comprising diverse energy sources and storage solutions, and the dynamic capabilities of EVs. With its focus on power efficiency, this work significantly advances our knowledge of the design and operation of bidirectional flow smart energy systems. The efficiency of the developed model was verified through a comparative analysis of its metrics with those of other models and it has been observed that the energy consumption for the proposed optimization technique is 740 KJ which is very low. Concerning Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), Power Loss, and Energy Consumption. Furthermore, the suggested controller’s THD doesn’t exceeds by 2.5%. The results show how well the system performs under various operating circumstances.
