An IoT based Obstacle Detection and Line Follower Robot using LabVIEW

This project provides strategies developed for autonomous cars for line following and collision detecting possibilities. Self-driving is the most common application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in intelligent transportation. Autonomous vehicles will refrain from abrupt lane changes when driving on their own. The project's aim is to build a robotic car that uses an ultrasonic sensor to avoid obstructions. ESP32 is employed to accomplish the intended function. A robot is a machine that can carry out an activity autonomously or under supervision. Through the use of a motor driver, ESP32 activates the robot's motors, causing it to move in a different direction. The idea is to create a robotic vehicle with artificial intelligence that can self-direct when it encounters an impediment. This robot avoids collisions and can detect them using an obstacle sensor (HC-SR04) allowing it to reach the destination. It is a self-driving vehicle that recognizes a path that is either black or white and proceeds along it. With the aid of an infrared sensor built within the robot, it tracks the route. The robot is designed to detect a line and try to move in the direction of its destination by receiving instructions from ESP32. This project uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) module to determine the vehicle's position. The coordinates of the bot are determined by the patch antenna of the GPS module which are sent to the IoT Cloud (Real-time database) for visualizing / monitoring the robot using LabVIEW. With less manual labor and more efficiency, the suggested robotic approaches can save time. As a result, the robot is programmed to follow a predetermined route, getting around obstacles along the way, until it reaches its destination. It may also use the coordinates provided by the GPS module to track the robot's whereabouts.
