Method for Reducing the Frequency Spectrum Overlaying Error in Digital Narrow-Band Filtration

A method for reducing the frequency aliasing error in digital narrow-band filtering due to pre-processing, based on averaging their input signals with a weighted piecewise harmonic function is proposed and investigated. The problem of synthesis characteristics of the preliminary digital filter for signal processing is solved. The proposed method for suppressing transposed frequencies provides a significant reduction in the aliasing error due to the side lobes of the frequency response of a discrete signal, compared to the best-known method of double integration.
