Half-Ring End Structure Analysis of a Rotary-Linear SPM Motor for Torque Improving

In this paper, A half-ring end construction on a rotary-linear SPM motor with a voice coil is examined in this research to enhance output torque. The first is a surface-mounted rotary-linear PM coil motor (RL-SCM) with full-ring flux magnetic end-part bridges. The structure and fundamental operation of the RL-SVCM are examined. Following that, an RL-SVCM with half-ring flux bridges is proposed to improve the motor output rotational torque. The reluctance torque is added to the rotational torque by the installation of half-ring flux bridges. The overall torque is enhanced. Meanwhile, the force of linear motion varies more often than in the full-ring construction.
