Abstract:

The propulsion system is the power source of a ship, and the controllable pitch propeller propulsion system is one of the main propulsion devices of modern ships. This paper describes an improved PID controller and its application in CPP control system, i.e., a discrete self-resistive controller (ADRC) based on nonlinear PID is designed and MATLAB/Simulink is used to simulate and verify. The simulation and application results show that the algorithm is able to achieve satisfactory pitch adjustment, and the controller is found to enable the CPP to quickly achieve the expected response when adjusting the pitch to ensure the timeliness of ship navigation, thus meeting the application requirements of the pitch paddle control system.
