Analysis of the Level of Implementation of the Lean Six Sigma Approach in Moroccan Services

The objective of this article is to study the level of implementation of the Lean Six Sigma approach to optimize performance at the level of Moroccan services. In order to achieve the research objective, we analyzed the previous studies from a systematic literature review, and validated them by Moroccan experts in the service sector. In addition, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 61 of the different departments of Morocco. All the answers collected were subjected to an in-depth statistical analysis, in order to provide useful information to both researchers and practitioners of the Lean Six Sigma approach, involved in performance optimization. No previous research had been carried out on the progress of the adoption of this approach within the Moroccan services. The results of this study indicate that the Lean Six Sigma approach is unfortunately not widely adopted by all Moroccan departments to optimize their performance. Indeed, 65% of respondents said they had not yet tried to apply this method in their service. These results highlight the importance of raising awareness of the potential benefits of the Lean Six Sigma approach and providing adequate support for its adoption and effective implementation within Moroccan departments. They also offer avenues of reflection for researchers and practitioners wishing to promote this approach in the specific context of Morocco.
