Research on Stress Analysis and Energy Saving Measure of Pipeline in Oil Transportation Station Under Non-Uniform Settlement

The energy saving technology of oil pipelines is carried out in response to the development strategy of reducing costs and increasing efficiency of petroleum enterprises. The non-uniform settlement of the foundation can lead to tilting and deformation of the oil pipelines laid on it, and even lead to the consequences of cracking and leakage. Therefore, in order to ensure the safe operation and energy-saving efficiency of pipelines, it is necessary to conduct research on the stress state and safety measures of pipelines under foundation settlement. For an oil transportation station with non-uniform settlement in a coastal area, a self-balancing leveling instrument is used to measure the settlement values of pipeline at different positions within the station. Then, use CAESAR II software to establish a three-dimensional model of the pipeline and analyze the impact of non-uniform settlement on the stress level of the pipeline. Finally, effective anti settlement measure is developed to reduce pipeline stress. The research results indicate that under the condition of non-uniform settlement of the foundation, the primary stress of the pipeline in the oil transportation station remains unchanged, while the secondary stress increases, and the positions with higher secondary stress values appear at the tee of the pipeline. After adopting the measure of adjustable support, the vibration of the pipeline is significantly reduced, and safety hazards are eliminated. These research results provide reference and inspiration for the stress analysis and energy-saving work of other settlement pipelines, and are of great significance for ensuring the safe and stable operation of oil pipelines under foundation settlement.
