Developing a Virtual TIU Campus Tour: Integrating 3D Visualization of University Facilities in VR

The development of 'virtual campus tours' in recent years, driven by advances in 3D and virtual reality (VR) technologies, marks a move away from traditional image displays and interactive maps ho to experiences that provide comprehensive university exposure. Even though these visits have been invaluable in enhancing the decision-making processes of potential students by allowing them to gain a comprehensive view of campus resources, they are also an indispensable educational tool in the university's marketing and recruitment process. This study explores the development and impact of a Virtual Tour Guide Application for Tishk International University, utilizing advanced 3D modeling and virtual reality technologies to enhance prospective students' campus exploration experience. By integrating Autodesk 3Ds Max and Unreal Engine, this research achieves a realistic and interactive virtual tour, emphasizing the application's potential to improve university engagement and outreach.
