A High-speed Wireless Dump Method for Locomotives Based on 5G Technology

In order to solve the problems of insufficient bandwidth, high manual labor, and low reliability, it is necessary to provide customers with a safe and reliable, high-speed, large bandwidth, intelligent, and automated solution to solve the problem of transmission between vehicles and ground. It can complete data transmission of several gigabytes and tens of gigabytes in a short time (3–5 minutes), and achieve automation of all transmission and storage operations without human involvement throughout the entire transmission process, This article first analyzes the problems existing in the high-speed wireless dumping scheme for locomotives. Secondly, it elaborates on the design principles of high-speed wireless dumping schemes for locomotives based on 5G technology. Then, a high-speed wireless dumping scheme for locomotives based on 5G technology is designed. Finally, the designed scheme is tested and the test results meet the requirements of high-speed wireless dumping for locomotives.
