Optimization Study of Variable Spray Technology in Dust Removal Systems

As the scale of coal mining expands, safety and dust pollution issues in coal mines are becoming increasingly prominent. In order to enhance the safety of coal mine production, this paper employs the Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) method to analyze the dispersion patterns of dust. The Euler-Euler method is utilized to establish a dust transport dynamics model. Subsequently, a grid model is employed to study the dispersion patterns of dust during the transportation process in coal mines. The results indicate that, with increasing distance, the proportion of coarse dust particles in the tunnel significantly decreases. Fine dust particles on the right side of the inclined chute in the tunnel tend to disperse more easily. Finally, in conjunction with the opening and closing characteristics curve of the flow valve, the paper proposes the use of a Backpropagation (BP) algorithmic model combined with PID control, effectively improving the response time of the control system to dust concentration.
