Design of Automatic Monitoring System of Electrical Tower Shape Change Based on GNSS

In order to avoid the safety accidents caused by the deformation of the electric tower, it is necessary to monitor and warn the electric tower in real time. Based on the global satellite navigation system (GNSS), an intelligent automatic monitoring system for electric tower deformation is designed in this paper, which aims to automatically collect the data of electric tower deformation and send out early warning information for dangerous deformation. The system adopts RTK positioning principle, eliminates noise error through Kalman filtering algorithm, and introduces least square estimation model to optimize GNSS observation equation, and obtains accurate monitoring data of electric tower deformation. The two-level data fusion analysis method is used to design the early warning system, and the early warning information is pushed to the user by mail or short message. Through the introduction of the principle and software design of the monitoring system for electric tower deformation, a field test was carried out in an electric tower in Ji 'an, Jiangxi Province. It was found that the horizontal deformation accuracy of the system could reach -5 ~ 5mm, and the vertical deformation accuracy could reach -8 ~ 8 mm. The system can meet the requirements of tower monitoring and provide a reference for the research and development of related systems.
