Construction of Virtual Power Plant Regulation System Based on Control Cloud Platform

Traditional power system is facing severer challenges. There is a lot of adjustable space in massive load and distributed energy, and the construction of virtual power plant is an important way to tap this kind of adjustment potential. Virtual power plant has strong resource integration ability, and can help the aggregation of various resources to realize the collaborative interaction of "source-network-load-storage" and independent coordination and optimization control. What’s more, it can participate in power system operation and power market transactions. Firstly, this paper introduces the key technologies of virtual power plant, including information and communication technology and coordinated control technology. Secondly, the architecture and functions of control cloud platform of virtual power plant are introduced, and the IOT access plan by power wireless private network is proposed. Finally, the regulation ability and economic benefits are analyzed.
