Design of High Recycling Efficiency Solar Panels Based on Edge Sealing

Currently, the recovery methods employed for solar panels include mechanical crushing, organic reagent dissolution, and thermal decomposition. The mechanical crushing separation method faces challenges such as low recovery efficiency and high recovery cost. The organic reagent dissolution method encounters the issue of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) adhesive expansion, leading to battery fragmentation. Meanwhile, the thermal decomposition method consumes more energy and results in polluting emissions. This paper presents a detailed introduction to a solar panel design that enhances recycling efficiency through improved packaging methods. Reliability experiments were conducted to demonstrate the design's robustness in extreme environments, and power generation efficiency experiments were performed to showcase its performance. Feasibility analysis of its economic benefits and emission reduction effects was completed.
