Multi-objective Day-ahead Optimal Scheduling for Integrated Energy Systems

Against the background of the current increasingly tense global energy situation, improving energy utilization efficiency, reducing energy consumption and reducing environmental pollution have become urgent issues for governments and enterprises. The utilization of combined heat and power (CCHP) units is a key way to improve the consumption of renewable energy. However, the carbon emission of CCHP poses a challenge to the pollution and economic optimization of integrated energy systems. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a novel optimal scheduling model for cogeneration with power-to-gas (P2G) and carbon capture system (CCS) considering the choice of cogeneration mode, which solves the carbon source problem required for P2G and the carbon emission problem of cogeneration through IES optimal scheduling. The model takes CCHP, P2G and CCS as a whole system, establishes the operation law of the model, and analyzes the coupling characteristics of electricity, heat, gas and carbon of the model. Accordingly, the optimization strategy of IES considers the proposed model and carbon trading mechanism, and then solves and verifies the validity. The research and application of the model can help improve the operational efficiency of the energy system, reduce energy consumption and environmental pollution, and provide strong support for building a sustainable energy system.
