Load Analysis of Motor-driven Vacuum Circuit Breakers

This article focuses on the application of motor drive mechanisms in 126kV vacuum circuit breakers. Firstly, theoretical modeling is carried out, and the kinematic and dynamic constraint equations of the transmission chain of the rotating motor drive mechanism are constructed. Based on Matlab, the constraint equation was solved, and the composition of the load torque of the servo motor was decomposed and analyzed. Then, in order to reduce the load torque of the servo motor, optimization was carried out from three aspects: the starting angle of the crank arm, the self closing force of the arc extinguishing chamber, and the mass of the moving end of the contact. The analysis conclusion of the load torque of the motor driven vacuum circuit breaker was obtained, providing a basis for improving the design of the torque utilization rate of the motor driven operating mechanism.
