Implementation of an NLP-Driven Chatbot and ML Algorithms for Career Counseling

The AI-based career guidance system proposed in this study addresses the crucial phase of career decision-making faced by secondary school students in India. Leveraging digital transformation, the proposed system provides an interactive platform accessible to students, aiming to streamline the educational and career selection process. Through extensive aptitude assessments, the system evaluates students' strengths, weaknesses, interests, and aptitudes to generate personalized career recommendations. A 24/7 chatbot support system serves as a virtual career counselor, offering real-time assistance to students. The proposed system’s inclusive approach aims to reach students in underserved areas, aligning with the goals of inclusive education outlined in the National Education Policy. Ultimately, the proposed system empowers students to make informed decisions and enable opportunities aligned with their capabilities and aspirations.
