Analysis of Various Aggregation Boost Topologies for DC Offshore Wind Power

With the rapid development of new energy technology, offshore wind power shows a trend of large scale wind turbines, wind field area expansion and the application of DC convergence and DC transmission. Economic and effective large-scale offshore wind power convergence and transmission methods have been increasingly concerned. In order to improve the economy of offshore wind power and make full use of offshore wind power resources, offshore wind power HVDC transmission and DC pooling related technologies have been proposed. This paper will introduce various aggregation boost topologies of DC offshore wind power, study the characteristics of the power aggregation topology structure in the DC aggregation boost system under typical offshore wind power output scenarios, analyze the construction costs and energy loss characteristics of various topology structures, and then find the most suitable DC aggregation scheme configuration for large offshore wind farms, improve the overall benefits of offshore wind power DC aggregation boost systems.
