User Driven Electricity Bill Estimation

Electricity plays an important role in every aspect of life today. Government data shows that India’s electricity consumption increased by 8.4 percent to 139 billion kilowatt-hours in July 2023 compared to the same month in the previous year. Energy is designed to use renewable or conventional resources but this will cause pollution due to the release of harmful gases and pollutants. Illegal transfers, whether intentional or unintentional by utility companies presents challenges for consumers to assess their electricity utilization. To address these issues, this study offers users insights and forecasts into their electricity usage patterns, which will empower individuals to take conscious steps towards reducing their energy consumption. In doing so, it not only promotes individual environmental responsibility but also contributes to a sustainable future. Thus ”User Driven Electricity Bill Estimation” aims to solve these dual challenges of environmental safety and user convenience in electricity usage, with a system to input their electricity usage data and enlighten them about the consequences of electricity production and consumption.
