A Calibration Technique for Microring Modulator Thermal Controller

We propose a calibration technique for the thermal control unit of microring modulators, where the controller derives the average power corresponding to the maximum OMA, without the need for high-speed circuits or simulations. This is expected to improve the production yield from 36% to 83%.
