Integrating RFID and Sensor Technology for Enhanced Urban Vehicle Monitoring: A Path to Smarter, Safer Cities

This study introduces a vehicle monitoring system that synergizes radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology with a Raspberry Pi-driven sensor network to elevate road safety and promotes environmental sustainability in urban areas. The system enables the real-time tracking of vehicles, the detection of over-speeding, and the in-depth analysis of vehicular performance metrics. By integrating RFID tags for precise identification and leveraging onboard diagnostic data, the system offers a proactive solution to traffic violations and vehicle maintenance issues.
