IoT Empowered GNSS Tracking in Real-time via Cloud Infrastructure

The rapid progress of technology represented by the IoT has made it possible to connect even the most intricate electronic devices to a network. Keeping track of unusual and transient ionospheric properties may be facilitated via the Internet of Things. Thanks to Adriano technology, a dense sensor network may be constructed out of small, single-recurrence GNSS receivers. Through the use of this technique, we can monitor the overall electron concentration in the ionosphere in real-time. Using a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite receiver, you may easily obtain data on ionospheric TEC and ionosphere-to-earth-collision (TEC) shielding. Through the Internet, we are able to generate TEC-to-ionosphere maps and upload them to a cloud server. It has been proposed that we switch to a new architecture that stores information on the cloud. Because of the setup, we can provide remote monitoring. Accuracy is at 98.23%, sensitivity is at 97.87%, recall is at 95.32%, and throughput is at 98.35% with the proposed technology. This approach is competitive with existing GNSS models and outperforms the current methodology.
