Adaptive Linux OS Theme Selection using Deep Learning for User Mood Enhancement

This research paper presents a novel approach to enhancing user experience in Linux-based operating systems by predicting the user’s mood and selecting an appropriate theme. The system uses facial expression recognition techniques to categorize the user’s mood into one of eight emotions: anger, contempt, disgust, fear, happiness, neutrality, sadness, or surprise. Then, it dynamically adjusts the operating system’s theme to match the user’s mood, with each emotion category mapped to a specific set of themes designed to enhance user experience. For instance, an angry user may be greeted with a calming and relaxing theme, while a sad user can enjoy a cheerful and vibrant interface.
