Development of 360-Degree Virtual Reality Chinese CLIL Learning Material for Intercultural Understanding Integrated with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Regional Revitalization

This study presents the development of 360-degree VR Chinese language learning materials, integrating intercultural understanding with SDGs to revitalize regional heritage. The material uses VR and CLIL methodologies to transcend physical boundaries, offering immersive, narrative-driven experiences in Lugang, Taiwan. By simulating realistic scenarios, it aims to enhance language proficiency and subject comprehension. This innovative approach could redefine foreign language education, fostering global competence and contributing to the sustainability of local cultures. The research underscores the potential for using VR in higher education to address contemporary educational challenges.
