Research on Network Security Measures in Electric Power Communication Network

In this paper, the network security measures in electric power communication network are deeply studied, aiming at improving the network defense ability of key infrastructure. The research scope covers the implementation and effect evaluation of key security measures such as encryption algorithm, authentication mechanism and realtime monitoring system. Firstly, through the performance test of different encryption algorithms, the influence on communication links is evaluated. The experimental results show that under the premise of ensuring communication security, the strong encryption algorithm has relatively little impact on network performance, which provides a safe and efficient means of data transmission for power communication networks. Secondly, the gain effect of multilevel authentication on network security is discussed. By using multi-factor authentication methods, such as passwords, smart cards and biometrics, the experimental results show that this authentication strategy effectively improves the network's ability to resist unauthorized access and effectively reduces potential security threats. In the aspect of realtime monitoring system, this paper establishes an experimental environment, and verifies the effectiveness of realtime monitoring in detecting and responding to abnormal behavior by simulating various attack scenarios. The results show that the realtime monitoring system can detect potential security incidents in time and provide strong support for network administrators, thus improving the overall security awareness of the network. In the electric power communication network, adopting comprehensive network security strategies, including strengthening the encryption of communication links, multilevel authentication and the establishment of realtime monitoring system, can significantly improve the network security without sacrificing performance. This provides strong support for the long-term security of electric power communication network, and puts forward useful suggestions for the future research and practice of network security.
