Design of Intelligent Management System for Drone Hangar Based on Internet of Things Technology

This study aims to design and develop an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) hangar intelligent management system based on IoT (Internet of Things) technology to meet the growing demand for UAV usage and the challenges of hangar management. The widespread application of UAV makes hangar management complex and challenging, as it requires effective tracking, maintenance, and management of UAV status, location, and performance. In the literature review section, we discussed in detail the application of IoT technology in the field of UAV, as well as the problems faced by UAV hangar management. Next, we introduced the integration of IoT technology and UAV, discussed the basic principles of IoT technology and the interconnection between UAV and IoT. In the system design section, we propose a comprehensive intelligent management system, including a detailed description of the system architecture and components. In the experimental results and analysis section, the research results show that the success rate is generally high, indicating that the automatic charging system and maintenance scheduling strategy are generally effective and reliable. The success rate of UAV-5 reaching 100% indicates its best performance in charging and maintenance, possibly due to its good hardware condition or higher compatibility with automatic charging systems.
