Exploration 5G Fronthaul Technology & Networking Solutions

Mobile communication technology has developed into the 5G era, with the emergence of massive data transmission, device access, and new application scenarios. Among them, the 5G fronthaul is a new and evolving network architecture compared to 4G, facing enormous pressure. The importance and complexity of 5G fronthaul have made them a research focus and hots pot in 5G bearer networks. This article analyzes and sorts out the carrying requirements and technologies of 5G fronthaul, and further analyzes and compares several mainstream technologies and carrying schemes of 5G fronthaul. Based on this, it explores the design principles, networking points, and networking solutions of 5G fronthaul, providing reference for the development of subsequent 5G fronthaul.
